SIGNING UP FOR TRAIL RUNS & EVENTS...Everyone is asked to sign up prior to showing up for all Trail Runs and Events coordinated by Yuma 4X4. Sign ups are done on the forum. Don't call, or email that you are going. POST IT ON THE FORUM!
Please, DO NOT post your reasons for not going on a Trail Run. If you are not going, why bother to post it?
NO CALL, NO SHOW POLICYIf you sign up for a Trail Run, or a club event and you have to cancel, that is fine, no problem. We just ask that you please, contact us to let us know that you won't be able to make it, so we do not waist time standing around, wondering if you're going to show up, or not. In most cases we worry that possibly something bad happened, i.e. car accident on the way to the meeting place, etc.
A "No Call, No Show" is generally considered rude, self-centered and inconsiderate. Rude, self-centered and inconsiderate people are not welcome in this 4X4 Club!
CONTACTING YUMA 4X4 ADMINISTRATION...If you have any questions related to this Club Website, Club Events, or anything else Club related, send email to: yuma4x4@yuma4x4.org
Please do not pm/email Yuma 4X4 Administration for small talk or for non-site related questions and conversations. You should discuss such subjects in the forums.
ABOUT OUR RULES...A few (about 3) people have complained over the 4+ years, about our rules. We have rules because, not everyone knows how to conduct themselves out on the trail. Our rules are only common sense to those of us who know and a guide for those that don't. Simple as that.
If for some reason you feel that you can not abide by our rules, we would ask that you find a Club that is more to your liking. We know what makes a Club, and we know what will kill a Club, that is why we have come up with these guidelines. We do not wish to control you, but we do want to keep everyone safe and preserve the trails and lands we travel on. We hope you can respect this.
Thank you!
